WORLD RISC-V DAYS TURIN 2026
February 26, 2026
Turin, Italy
Marcello Ranone, Head of CPU Development at Flow, will be speaking at World RISC-V Days in Turin, presenting “The PPU Technology of Flow Computing.”
In his talk, Marcello will explore how Flow PPU enables scalable parallel performance while remaining instruction-set independent, working alongside modern CPU architectures including RISC-V International.
The session will take place at Politecnico di Torino, bringing together architects, developers, and researchers from the RISC-V ecosystem to discuss the future of open, high-performance computing.

F2F WEEK IN LAPLAND 2025

Team Flow gathered in Lapland for a focused F2F week, bringing together colleagues from across Europe to step out of daily routines and dive deep into architecture discussions, roadmap planning, benchmarking, and hands-on technical collaboration.
Alongside internal sessions, we were glad to host Fuad Abazovic, whose perspectives on CPUs, AI, and data center trends added valuable external insight to the week’s discussions.
Beyond the work, the week offered a true Lapland experience, from reindeer sightings and saunas to catching the northern lights, making it an intense, energizing, and memorable week of collaboration.

SLUSH 2025

We joined Slush 2025 alongside the global tech community, meeting founders, investors, researchers, and partners across the main event and numerous side gatherings hosted by VTT LaunchPad, FOV Ventures, Maria 01, Distance Technologies, Molten Ventures, Lifeline Ventures, Creandum, Google, OpenAI, Accel, and others.
Across the week, one theme stood out: exceptional interest from both customer prospects and future investors in Flow PPU and our approach to unlocking the next leap in CPU performance.
Our CEO & Co-Founder, Timo Valtonen, led a strong week of discussions on our technology, commercial roadmap, and the opportunity ahead.
We leave Slush 2025 with real momentum and a set of concrete next steps with customers, partners, and investors.

Web SUMMIT LISBON 2025

Flow represented Finland’s deep-tech community at Web Summit Lisbon as part of the KPMG Tech Innovator global finals. Our CEO & Co-Founder, Timo Valtonen pitched our vision for the next leap in CPU performance powered by architectural-level parallel processing.
Flow PPU sparked strong interest across AI infrastructure, hyperscale computing, and semiconductor leadership in meetings with investors, architects, and ecosystem partners.

Flow was featured on the Nasdaq Tower in Times Square, marking a major visibility milestone following our selection as one of KPMG’s Global Tech Innovator 2025 finalists.

C++ MEETUP BUDAPEST

MARIA 01 NEXT STARTUP FESTIVAL & AFTERPARTY

We joined the Maria 01 NEXT Startup Festival in Helsinki. Our CEO & Co-Founder, Timo Valtonen, spoke on the Foresight Group panel “Small Talk on Big Themes – Human intelligence, Artificial General Intelligence, and the New World Order”.
Later that evening, Flow was honored to be named a Rising Star at the festival, powered by KPMG Finland.

SCALPERF ’25

Our CTO, Chief Architect & Co-Founder, Dr. Martti Forsell, presented at ScalPerf ’25 His talk “A New Way to Boost the Performance of CPUs for Parallel Functionalities” explored how Flow PPU unlocks scalable, high-throughput performance for future CPUs.
Following ScalPerf, Martti visited a CPU development team in Torino for technical discussions and collaboration opportunities.

IFA BERLIN 2025

SARSIA PORTFOLIO DAY 2025

Our CEO and Co-Founder, Timo Valtonen, presented at Sarsia’s Portfolio Day.
As one of Sarsia’s portfolio companies, we shared our progress and future ambitions with Sarsia’s partners and network. Timo highlighted how speed is the superpower of computing, and how Flow PPU enables the next generation of CPU performance.
The day also included a panel on the fundraising journey with fellow portfolio companies Mitigrate and Chargitect.

HOT CHIPS 2025

On August 19, our founders visited Silicon Valley, meeting with CPU vendors, hyperscalers, researchers, and investors. The trip culminated at HOT CHIPS at Stanford University (August 24-26), where we shared the most recent update and performance results of Flow PPU.
Our demo showed how Flow PPU scales beyond today’s limits, seamlessly integrates with any CPU instruction set, and unlocks speed: the superpower of computing.

Team Flow gathered for a week of deep focus, alignment, and shared vision. With team members traveling in from across Europe, these moments are essential for driving strategy and strengthening collaboration.
The week included architecture and content planning sessions, spontaneous late-night discussions, and team dinners that mixed trattorias, tacos, and Torino’s vibrant culture. Some of us even capped it off with a scenic hike in the Alps.

KPMG TECH INNOVATOR FINLAND 2025
June 11

Flow Computing took home the national title at the KPMG Tech Innovator in Finland competition.
Our CEO, Timo Valtonen, delivered a 3-minute pitch, no slides, just vision, that earned Flow the top spot among Finland’s most promising deep tech startups.
Next stop: Lisbon, where we’ll represent Finland in the global finals this November.
